free RWC 2011 channel- would there be any?

I don’t have any major TV channel that shows rugby matches and I would really like to see as much as I can rugby world cup matches.
Is Eurosport going to broadcast RWC matches, and if not, is there going to be any live stream on the internet??

If you’re talking about in America then the answer will be no. You will need to buy a package to watch it on TV

Wales Rugby History

wales rugby history
y is there northern ireland & ireland football team while the rugby team is one,y is not england/wales cricket

just would like to know the history or reasoning, or how these came about
ie why is the team called england when it really is england and wales

When every the country was split by the Brits in 1921 the soccer federation of Ireland also split with Northern Ireland having the IFA and the Republic of Ireland the FAI.

All other sports in Ireland have a whole Ireland team as there leagues are basied on the Island. The rugby league is and all Ireland league. If they unified the two soccer teams then they would have to unify the League system and this means less money from Uefa.

Chance of getting into schools such as Stanford, Yale,Cornell, Rice, etc.?

Im a junior in high school
my school is the third best public school in whole Texas
Sat scores currently is 1800-1900 but i m planning to get it up to 2100-2200ish by the time i graduate.

not sure about ranks but probably between top 10 to 20 percentage in class rank: my average is like 114%

classes taken or currently taking are science 1, bio pre-ap,bio ap, chemistry, marketing, business management, geometry, algebra 2, pre-cal pre-ap, calculus ab, eng 1, eng 2 pre-ap, eng3 ap, us history ap, worldhistory ap, canadian history 1, world geo pre-ap, spanish 1, spanish 2, spanish 3 pre-ap, school store, art 1, drawing ap

activities that i thought it would boast me:
I m a treasurer in the club DECA
sports played: rugby only in 9 th grade won district championship with a best forward title
i play the piano well:i play for my church praise team
I was nominated at a San Antonio art competition

plz giva an honest answer… thank you

I’m afraid you won’t get into top colleges such as Stanford or Yale. The classes you are taking are ok, if it’s the most rigorous possible at your school, but they expect people in the top 5-10% of their class, and preferably in the top 1%, depending on the size of your school.
You need to be extremely passionate about a couple extra-curriculars. From your description, piano and art are just hobbies. You would need to participate in regional and statewide competitions for these to matter.
Unless you have something else, this type of resume seems a bit basic for the top colleges. It’s not too late to get into something this junior year, and really making an effort to improve your resume can make these top colleges a possiblity.

Rugby Protective Gear For Kids

July 26th, 2011 admin No comments

Boys Who love the outdoors Need Warm Winter clothing

While every parent wants his child to have fun and appreciate the great outdoors, it is also essential to provide adequate clothing and protective gear for the little guy or guys in your life. Choosing warm clothingfor boys or appropriatebaby clothing for the tiny little boys doesn’t have to be a hassle. Finding the appropriate warm weather attire the little bloke will love to wear can be as simple as can be.

A good way to furnish your child’s wardrobe is by allowing the child to choose his outdoor boys clothing in styles he prefers. Younger children will need closer guidance of course, and baby clothes are the easiest to choose from. For slightly older boys, simple choices such as selecting the colors and styles of hats and coats can make a big difference. If the child makes a fuss about having to wear a jumper or jersey and warm outerwear, let him choose a style that depicts his favorite sports or character heroes. This can be fun for a young boy.

Many older boys love to be outdoors doing various chores and part-time jobs which can earn them some extra spending money. During autumn and winter, you can help them accomplish this by seeing that they are dry and warm in proper boy’s clothes. Providing warm jumpers may seem like the most essential part, and in many ways it is. It’s important however, not to neglect another aspect. Footwear for your little boy is equally important.

Most boys are going to enjoy kicking a ball around in cold weather and the shoes can take a beating. Doing some comparison shopping to buy sturdy and durable footwear should be another priority. While the child’s feet are still growing of course, it may not be wise to invest in overly expensive playtime shoes but ones that are constructed to withstand rough play can be a good investment. Look for a fleece type lining to keep feet warm during cold weather.

Boy that enjoy rugby or football may be comfortable in thicker thermal type socks. This is especially important when your child is participating in winter sports. If his feet are warm and dry, he’ll be able to concentrate on enjoying his favorite outdoor sports and activities. In turn, the parents will have the peace of mind in knowing their boy is protected and warm. Don’t forget the hats, gloves and scarves to keep the boys warm on the chilly days of outdoor play.
