In fact your information could not be more wrong as the IRB has official made a point and highlighted a clause within the Official IRB tournament rules regarding opposition behaviour when a haka is being performed. IRB chief executive Mike Miller said that teams cannot disrepect traditional aspects of a nation’s cultural heritage by reacting in certain ways to a haka or war dance, and that a harder stance will be taking by the game’s governing body in the future.

“It’s a traditional part of the game,” Miller said and they have shown they are prepared to make teams pay if they cross the line. This will not only apply to the All Blacks haka, but the various challenges performed by the Pacific Island teams as well.

Look up the Wallaroos incident (the Australian women’s rugby team) where they were fined over US$2000 for moving too close to the Black Ferns while they performed their haka.

ive just started play rugby. I’m 5’11. 150lbs. I can run fast and i can tackle good, I’m quite muscular as i like to box and work out quite a lot.
I have been training to join my local rugby club for the past 6 months, getting up every morning for a run and never forget to work out ( apart from on weekends! ). I dont really know much about rugby, i like watching it and i have played a bit in the past but nothing big. Im good at running with the ball and kicking it.
Where should i play?!!

hey they say that if you want to be a back you should be able to run 80 min straight with no problem. to me you sound like a back. in rugby a back does a lot of running and sometimes a lot of kicking, you also would have to be able to do open field tackles. if this does not sound like you or you want to be in the pack i would recommend 8man or flanker. chances are that the rugby club you are joining will tell you where you will be the most beneficial. good luck, rugby is tons of fun!

We got them off a person my dad knew in work who had season tickets, So really you should be able get tickets (but it will cost you around 1500 euros all together. You can buy tickets online. Im almost 17 6’0′ very athletic varsity runner and swimmer and i play club rugby, i think people like me but sometimes make fun of the way i dress like example; this weekend we got a foot of snow about in south jersey and we had off yesterday but today i wore to school a burgandy and gray rugby sweatshirt from tommy hillfiger along with polo dark tan chords and irish setter boots(high lace boots) with my chords rolled up to low shin area…. some people said i looked ballin’ but others were like wtf man so is this bad to dress like this? oh i had a green puffer vest on as well…. lol
